U.S. futures indicated modest gains following a rally that pushed the Nasdaq up by more than 5% this week and the S&P 500 higher by 3.5%.
Wall Street is now focused on the Federal Reserve’s policy meeting on September 17-18, where the central bank is widely expected to cut interest rates by 25 basis points.
The debate has persisted after data released on Thursday revealed that the US producer price index edged up slightly in August, following a downward revision of the previous month's figures.
On the economic front we don’t have any major releases to close the week, with the consumer sentiment figures for September being the only focus point to watch.
