Wall Street rallied after a softer inflation report and further evidence of a cooling job market fueled expectations that the Federal Reserve could deliver its first interest rate cut of the year.

As noted in our pre-market brief yesterday, the outcomes were skewed positively as the market marched toward new all-time highs after the report.

Meanwhile Retail net purchased $5.9B this week, slightly above the 2-month avg. Retail activity in options remained elevated, with retail traders net buying $716M of delta and selling $72B of gamma.
