Hey team. U.S. futures rose early Monday as investors look to cap a stunning month for stocks.

Let’s see what’s ahead for the market!

Macro Viewpoint

US equity futures climbed as progress in trade negotiations between U.S. and key partners added to the upbeat sentiment.

US stocks reached an all-time high last week amid signs of easing geopolitical tensions and a resilient economy, even as President Trump’s push for global trade reform through tariffs continues.

Subdued inflation is fuelling market bets on Federal Reserve interest rate cuts this year, despite policymakers maintaining a wait-and-see approach. Markets are clearly in a transitional phase—not just in price action, but in macro function.

The Fed remains the shock absorber, and while inflation may stay elevated, that alone may not prevent the start of easing. Markets themselves are a policy tool, with policymakers recognizing that liquidity transmission drives asset prices. Tariffs and high relative valuations remain top concerns.
