Hey team. US equity futures retreated during early trading on Tuesday after the S&P500 notched its best quarter since 2023.

Let’s see what’s ahead for this market!

  • 🟥 Fed Chair Powell Speech - 9:30am

  • 🟥 ISM Manufacturing PMI - 10:00am

  • 🟥 JOLTS Job Openings - 10:00am

Macro Viewpoint

U.S. stock futures slipped on Tuesday after a strong run that saw Wall Street indexes hit record highs. Investors remained focused on developments in U.S. trade negotiations and a flurry of Senate votes tied to President Trump’s sweeping tax and spending package.

Despite recent turbulence sparked by Trump's trade policies, conflict in the Middle East, and ongoing concerns about inflation and economic growth, market bulls have largely taken the reins.

Still, volatility hasn’t disappeared. Trade discussions are racing toward a July 9 deadline, and Trump is pushing ahead with a budget plan expected to drive the U.S. deficit up by more than $3 trillion over the next ten years.
